@juliejordan Congratulations, I love to hear the stories of kids getting calls from the “1st choice”! It just doesn’t seem to happen that often, so its extra special!
@Notmath1 – are you SURE that all calls haven’t been made? So many were called yesterday…
Please contact Wayne Petro in theatre admissions.
@PacePerfArts Guessing you’d rather not be contacted by each anxious applicant/family. If there is anything you can share about timing of MT phone calls (more today? no more til Monday? all done?) it would be welcome.
Are only MT admits being contacted via phone?
I believe some? (all?) BFA Acting admits were called yesterday, too. Haven’t heard about the Film/TV BFAs.
Curious to hear if all phone calls have been made. We don’t have contacts as my daughter is the only one we know who auditioned so we went into this blind. If so, do they have a wait list? I think the waiting is harder on the parents than the kids!
Hi everyone!
I was accepted on Friday around noon for Pace’s MT program. Three of my friends from school also got accepted, and I was looking on twitter and facebook and found quite a few people posting about their acceptances to the program. I assume that all calls have been made, but I don’t want anyone taking my word for it. I do know that there is a wait list. I was talking on the phone with Amy and she said if I decide to go to another school, I need to let her know immediately because there are people on wait list who she would need to call to take my spot. I’m pretty sure people on wait list get a letter sent to their houses. I hope I could have been some help!
Has anyone heard anything this week?
Nothing yet.
Hi all - as of today, I’m finished printing all Musical Theater decisions (as well as most of the other 7 majors!). Expect that all should have their decisions by mid-next week, mail permitting. NOTE: we can only notify those who have been ACADEMICALLY admitted to Pace already. So there are a number of folks who I can’t notify until this happens.
This is ahead of where we typically are - usually, the last decisions are going out in the 3rd/4th weeks of March.
Also - we have individuals on the alternate and wait lists. These folks won’t get phone calls until we can officially admit them. If you are one of these (indicated in your letters), please reply to me so that I know you remain interested!
So I wonder…If you have been academically accepted to PACE and applied to MT and have not yet received a phone call, should you expect a rejection, waitlist or alternate letter only? I guess my question is “Have all MT acceptances already received phone calls?”
Oops
Thank you, @PacePerfArts. Actual information beats speculation every time.
@pookiesunshine, based on the below, we will find out one way or another soon. BAL.

I should have put @cbdawg12
Thanks yes I saw that. I was just trying to get clarification on post #30 to determine if all MT acceptances received calls or will some be notified by mail. Or is what is coming via mail only rejections, waitlist or alternate notification. Just trying to save myself some pain!
@cbdawg12.
I am wondering the same thing…
Is there reason for any hope if you have heard nothing?
Read the message above from PacePerfArts. It explains the reasons you may not have heard.
My question is posted in #31. It really isn’t answered in the post from Pace (#30) so that is why I was seeking clarification - but I realize it may not be answerable. Thanks.
