I though you all were joking, but he's really dead! May god support his family.

May he rest in peace. And I hope everyone treats cricket as just a game from now on. I'm glad teams like ireland and bangladesh are doing so well.

waleed---how can u say teams like Bd and Ireland at the same time?! That's really a weird analogy! (Ireland is just a newcomer!)

Well, after the couch's death (I sympathize), evry selector calls it quite.....

I'm sorry - when I meant "like" i meant those teams that weren't expected to win against teams like Pakistan and India. I personally am a very big fan of the Bangladeshi team - they are very talented and i'm sure they will achieve a lot in the future - I expect them to be one of the best in the future. All the players are young have a lot to learn/.

"All the players are young have a lot to learn/."
Yep, I am SO disappointed by seeing them play like that w/ SriLanka!

hey guys,

this is an interesting thread. just out of curiousity, do you guys (and i mean both pakistanis and indians, since there are lotsa indians here) prefer US universities to UK ones? why?

Hi everyone. Just wondering if any CC pakistanis got into MIT this year? I'd like to get in touch with them :) Thanks!

To acidten: Certain UK universities are better, like Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial. But I think the reason most South Asians prefer American universities is partially due to the environment (hey man, it's America!), even though my mother hates it (too many girls prancing around with barely any clothes on, I guess), or because those three universities I just listed in England are just really, really hard to get into. I think, though I do not have a source to back it up right now, I read somewhere that CambridgeU is harder to get into than Harvard.

Also, I don't know much about England, but to come to America on a student visa is really easy (I have a lot of friends doing that, many come to NY, especially to NYU and Stony Brook).

it's easier to get funding at a US school, other than oxford and cambridge uk universities donot offer substantial scholarships to internationals

some things jus **** me off real badly
It is the duty of pakiz and Indianz to hate each other.. i mean come on let it go
