<p>@bladeknight, Yes That Is Right It Is Possible To get a scholarship at MIT. MIT is need blind, which means that the admissions decision is not based on need, but on merit. So if you get accepted, MIT will meet your full need (remember this is not merit based scholarship). MIT defines need as the difference between the cost of education and how much your family can afford. So for example if your family can affoard 10000$ and the total costs are 50000$, then you will get a financial aid package of 40000$. There are not 'requirements' to get a scholarship as the scholarship(financial aid) is not based on merit, but is based on need. If your family cannot meet any of the costs, for example, then MIT will even pay for your air ticket!</p>
