<p>To do much of anything in the field, you’d need a grad degree. You probably could be admitted to a grad program with a single major in one of those fields, but your prospects will be improved with a double major or major/minor. For sure, I’d pick geology. For the second field it depends on whether you’re interested in human paleo or animal paleo.</p>

<p>I agree with zapfino. Any of those majors will do (I know paleontologists who started off as geologists, biologists, and anthropologists), but double majoring or doing a major/minor will really be key. Even if you can’t do that, at least take a lot of classes in both geology and biology. Grad school admission committees will see that on your transcript and in your statement of purpose and etc. (You’ll also be a lot more prepared!)</p>
