Para rescue is a two year air force special forces program. You can apply for that program after graduation from AFA. It has two portions: 1st phase is pure physical and the second and majority of the training is academic book work. It has an 80% drop-out rate (higher than SEALs!). Keep in mind that the program get more people from enlisted side, because it is not an officer-based program. Normally, enlisted who are specialists get into that program. It is possible that you get it through USAFA, but you have to have really good grades. Through the AFA, you will come out as an officer leading the team (full of enlisted specialists). Hope this helps.
