I'm applying to a couple boarding schools for 2012, particularly Taft, St. Andrews, Groton, Peddie, St. Pauls, and a few others.

Do parents get interviewed as well during the campus tour? Or is it only the student (applicant)?

Parents go in for a brief interview after the student interview. Not a big deal.

For some schools, I am conducting a SKYPE or telephone interview. Will my parents be interviewed over SKYPE or on the phone as well?

NYCKevin, when I did my interview for a lesser boarding school in Cali, they did not conduct a parent interview over Skype, only I was interviewed. However, an interview I did for a school in Georgia over the phone, my mother was interviewed first, then I was second. I guess it depends. For campus interviews, or interviews with alumni/admission officers on the road, typically the parent in interviewed as well (mainly they talk about concerns, and thoughts of their child attend a boarding school).

All of the schools I went to, I interviewed first, then my parents got to talk to the interviewer and ask questions.
