Parents, a question again :) Can U take an AP Test in College

Check with the registrar's office at your university. I'm pretty sure that at my college, our advising handbook specifically says that AP credit is only awarded for exams taken before matriculation. Like coureur said, you may be able to take a departmental placement exam to get credit for the second semester of Bio.

I emailed the college board directly with this question -- I was also wanting to take the Human Geography AP test in order to get credit for that class.

I was told no, AP tests are only for high school students and that CLEP tests are for current college students and other adults. AP tests taken by students currently in college will be invalidated and scores will not be released.

so the answer -- no, you can't take the AP test.
