<p>I was just wondering if it's really worth it to have your parents come to the SPOP? My parents are a bit weary about spending 120 based on the UCI description of what parents will get: The parent SPOP fee ($60.00), to attend the second day of SPOP, includes morning coffee, lunch and program costs. Parking is an additional $8/car.</p>
<p>Is the parent program rewarding enough to spend that much money to go, or should I just attend by myself?</p>

<p>Depends how much your parents want to go. Choice should be ultimately up to you, but if it was me, I would just go by myself. Get a good feel as to how it would be to be independent, and away from your parents.</p>

<p>Go by yourself! I’m sure if your parents wanted to get specific information about UCI that it’s all accessible on the internet and/or emailing someone.</p>
<p>My parents have been to UCI before and have taken the tour. So it’s really not worth paying for it again, right?</p>
