Parents I need your advice!

Hey, I've got my mind set on doing business and want to specifically major in Finance. I'm a first generation college student along with my sister (NYU College of Dentistry) and am Indian.

Stats:

GPA: 3.6 UW at Prep school

Chairmember of Hurricane Relief Foundation
Instructor of Martial Arts (2nd degree black belt)
Indian Dancer
Internship at Accounting Firm w/ Recommendation Letter

Guidance Counsellor Recommendation: Outstanding
Teacher Recommendation: Outstanding
Essay: "Creative and Reveals your passion for business" - opinion by readers

Schools:

-Reach-
NYU Stern (ED)
University of Michigan
Boston University
Penn State SHC (not sure...maybe just Penn State)

-Match-
Northeastern University
Fordham University
Baruch College

I need some more Match schools. I'm mainly looking for schools around the northeast with great business programs. Right now I'm hoping to get that acceptance letter from Stern as a Christmas present, but if not, I need to apply to schools that will be just as good. Two of my safeties (Baruch, Fordham U) are not places I really want to go and are really a last resort. I'm not sure if I should apply to Penn State Business Honors Program or just the regular business program. Thanks.

Bentley and Babson in the Boston area would probably be in your match category. Both well known for business; Bentley's reputation, in particular, is in the area of entrepreneurship. Has a lovely Georgian, rolling hills campus in a suburb within spitting distance of Boston. I haven't seen the Babson campus in a while, but in a generally attractive area with easy access to Boston also.

Thanks jmmom - a lot of people have recommended those 2 schools to me, but I'm looking for more of a well-rounded school that has a good business program. Also, I've heard that not many IB companies recruit from Babson because its more for entrepreneurship. I'm seeking a school with a good finance program, but thanks for the suggestions. If you know any other schools that are more of a fit for me (similar to Boston U, NYU, UMich) please name it :). Thanks.
