Parents of Daughters

I am curious as to how your girls have adjusted and done at any of the academies. Do they feel comfortable? Were they prepared to be in such a male dominated situation? Were they happy socially...in terms of friendships and even dating (if time even permits!)?
Physically, if they were already in good shape, did they find the physical demands ones they could meet without extreme difficulty? Finally, were you comfortable and happy with your daughter's choice?

Any feedback would be appreciated. We have one of ours receiving interest from the naval Academy and she is a bit interested in Coast Guard Academy...but would love to hear information on all!

My daughter is 1/C at Kings Point; she was well prepared for the physical and academic settings - it was quite a rollercoaster for the sea terms but made it thru and now is looking at licensing and graduation. She has made some great friends, both male and female, and has said on several occasions she would do all again in a hearbeat. I feel this school was the best choice for her.
