Thanks for all the good wishes. It feels great.
Nurse psychmom - I hope your patient is doing well today. And who brings a dog on a college tour? I have been on many tours and never once was there a dog…

jc40 - Teaching licenses also expire here every five years. I missed the lifetime license by a few years, so I will have to make sure I save all my Continuing Education certificates from workshops, etc., for license renewal. Only one license for me… a K-6 license. I have been teaching a long time and still love almost every minute of it… Your back-to-school date is sooooo early.

GSharpM7 - Cool symbols. I especially like the Hello Kitty!

zoosermom - LOL re: the roommate conversation. I know your daughter’s roommate will love her!
My friends and I laugh about that all the time! Too funny!

footballmom - I just went to the Marshall web site. It looks great. I think your son will love it there. It looks like the students have lots of opportunities to participate. Our son says he will be more excited when he gets to school, but right now is focused on enjoying summer and his friends. (He didn’t mention his family…)

Wow, teenage_cliche, it sounds like you had a successful and fun day! Yay! Enjoy your vacation! Check in if/when you get a chance. We’ll miss you.

aliceinw - Glad you had a good shopping trip, too. LOL re: the long underwear. I wear lots of Cuddl Duds - for those with girls headed to colder climates, these are awesome. I must have missed this - where is your son’s roommate from?

austinmtmom - {{HUGS}} and

2education - Yes, he still needs his mama! :)

kindredspirit - YAY! It sounds like it was a great day. I’m sure your daughter is very happy! I’m sure you’re having a great day at UPenn today. (Hope IKEA and Tar-zhay were good, too!)

missemily516 - Waving! ~~~~

pugmadkate - I am laughing at you sneaking things into your son’s dorm room. :)

FindAPlace - Sorry to hear about the rain, but glad you are making the best of your time there. Hope the dogs and son are doing well at home.

Youdon’tsay - It is so that your son has a roommate from China! And how that your son is looking forward to introducing him to new things. Very !

vballmom - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved dog. {{HUGS}}

LIMOMOF2 - Hoping you had a wonderful family visit today. :)

CaliforniaDancer - Fingers crossed for successful registration tomorrow. I hope it wasn’t too hard to say good-bye to your little sister. It was always hard for our daughter to say good-bye to her little brother. I think the reverse will be true now. Despite their six year age difference, they are very close. They have been in the same city for the last two years and it has been really nice.

Lafalum84 - Your cat story has me :)ing. Too funny!

DougBetsy - :)

parent56 - Loved the Good Cat story. I’m not sure Crackhead would last long at my house…

mdemvizi - {{HUGS}}

Our son returns from his volunteer camp counseling job tomorrow night. We had a wonderful dinner date with our daughter and her boyfriend at a brewery last night. We sat on the patio and visited for hours. Nice. She really wants to get a dog and we would only have to take care of it when she does her residency or travels or lives somewhere she can’t have a dog or… I say no, but the dad that is wrapped around her little finger will probably give in. Just so you all know - I am NOT scooping.

Staying !
