Congrats to Pepperson! Everything has a way of working out in the end, doesn’t it? :)

Kathiep - I looked for the site in my bookmarks, but i must have deleted it when cleaning up after we arrived at Port Willamette. Sorry - hope someone else still has it. It’s a nifty matrix.

Pepper: Congratulations on the final decision! I’m glad to hear that he is excited with his choice.

Omom and Seattlemom: It sounds like you had a fun visit to Willamette. It’s great to hear that both girls are happy with their choices.

My husband and daughter went to an accepted students program at the College of Communication at BU yesterday. They enjoyed beautiful weather, and my daughter is very excited about the program and opportunities the school offers. She came home with a cute t-shirt complements of BU, plus the other shirts they bought at the bookstore. She is already well-stocked with BU apparel. Fortunately, there were no streakers at BU. My husband might have asked to have our deposit refunded.

OWM: I hope your son had fun at the prom. I’m looking forward to the pics.

Congrats to everyone else whose kids have made decisions. It’s fun to watch the Drumroll list grow.

Congrats to Pepper son! Boston is a great college town. H & I were talking about how we wish we were back in college while walking around BU in between D’s bball games.

Pepper - congrats on S’s decision! Glad to hear that he is happy with his choice.

Graduation here is 8 weeks from yesterday. To-do list is still a mile long but am starting to really stress about senior video and planning for the party. yikes!

Pepper: I’m glad to hear that your friend’s daughter is happy at BU. The kids we know at NEU are very happy also. I think that both of our kids are lucky to be going to college in Boston. I’m certainly looking forward to visiting.

Congrats, Pepper, and everyone else on a successful visit weekend!

My D is lashed to the deck of Indecision. I may have to make her walk the plank after all. I wish I knew just what is holding her back. Maybe an accepted students’ day would help - or not, might just confuse things. Regardless, she isn’t going to any. She talked to her GC this week, but still no epiphany.

I feel she would be happy at any of her choices, so I’m not worried, except that I’m sorry to see her so befuddled. But she’ll make the deadline - she always does. I can survive another couple of weeks of this … I guess.

In the meantime, she’s remarkably not suffering from senioritis, although she definitely wants to get out of there. She’s finding lots of ways to keep things fresh to close out the year, and I’m impressed with that.

I just wonder what her block is - she hasn’t said anything particularly negative, or particularly positive, about any of her choices for a while. It’s like she’s kind of numb. There are a couple of online events this week we can do with her prospective schools; maybe they’ll spark something.

Emmybet: Our daughters sound like they are living parallel lives as far as the final decision is concerned. Befuddled is the perfect description! D2 has done visits, though. She should be landing in St. Louis within the hour to visit WashU. Hoping this trip gives her clarity. Senioritis doesn’t exist in this house either. She’s excited about “prom” and as student body president is pleased that everyone is following through on their responsibilities.

I’m there with you all, holding my motion sickness bag, hanging over the side of the SS Indecision. Ds is on the Lido Deck leading everyone in a conga line holding a little umbrella drink in one hand. Philosopher? Politician? Archaeologist? Maybe an biomedical engineer? Hey, let’s think about this tommorow!!!

^^ You 3 above are making me laugh! I can tell you that the visits added nothing but more confusion for our S. His last visit is the end of next week and he is doing an overnight. I’m hoping that it will make or break. In a matter of 10 days his top 3 have changed order numerous times. We’ll see…
