<p>Is it normal for parents to pay for school? The opinion on this forum seems to be that kids are entitled to having their parents pay for college but I don’t understand why that is.</p>
<p>In general adults on this forum who are parents are interested in college for their children and while they may not pay the full cost- are aware they will probably be paying * something*.</p>
<p>Both my children are attending college, but my parents did not pay for college for myself or any of my siblings, my husband also did not attend college ( & when we asked his parents to buy the grandchildren savings bonds, instead of * expensive & gimmicky* toys, they said " you don’t expect them to attend college, do you?")</p>
<p>It’s great if parents help, but many will/can not, however this site can help students in either circumstance to find options.</p>
