<p>Hello guys. We were planning on taking 2 cars to UChicago on Move-In Day because we live so nearby. The question I had was, how long will it take to find parking for each car? Is there a place nearby that we can store the cars?</p>
<p>My dad and brother are out of town, so it will be my mom and me + 2-3 family friends who don't speak the best English. They will be parking, so I'd greatly appreciate any helpful info in advance.</p>

<p>Some areas and streets are reserved only for move-in students, it is very easy to find one. Street guards or police will guide you around, no worry at all.</p>
<p>There’s a nice parking garage behind MaxP just east of Ratner Athletics Center (Ellis and 56 Street). We’ve never had a problem finding parking there and for moving in/out, Convocations, Parents/Alumni Weekend, etc. it’s been free. After the move we’ve left the car there basically all day and I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t have left it overnight (the gates are open during those days). You can always ask.</p>
