How bad is it to find parking spots during the weekday(morning and afternoon) because they said "dont bring yours cars to ucsd?"

Parking is awful. I live on campus, but once I needed to get to a pharmacy around noon time, and it took me almost an hour to find parking. But sometimes it takes less than five minutes... But usually it takes awhile to find parking, i.e. at least 15 minutes up to an hour. I don't think its that bad early in the morning though (i.e. before 8 o'clock), so if all your classes are early it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

it's horrible, I'm happy to find parking in the north lot. I hear regents lot is ok, but you'll need to shuttle back and forth.

yeah, i heard regents/east parking is where i can find parking most of the time....and i just worry about my first day of classes starts at 9am and 9:30am.

well it actually depends on where you live. if you're in ERC then parking is super easy as pangea parking structure is parked right next to the dorms. marshall students sometimes park there too as its across the street from their dorms. warren has basically no good parking whatsoever and they have to go to gilman and park which is by 6th college. But yeah, north parking is on one side of erc campus and pangea structure is on the other side, so parking is a cinch if you're gonna live in erc.
