Part-time job opportunities and Meals?

Okay, so SB is definitely one of my top choices right now, but a few questions:

I've heard that the meals cost an average of ~$10 per meal, and therefore ~$30 per day? That is, if one wants a decent meal/not skip meals. Any truth to this?

Also, I will definitely be working while attending college, so I was wondering what the part-time job opportunities at/around SB were like. When I visited, it seemed like a suburban-rural town w/o many opportunities. But of course perception and reality are two different things.

And lastly, what is the quality of the dorms like? Since I have eczema, I don't want to be in an environment that will exacerbate my skin, and will rent an apt/room for rent if I have to if the quality of SB dorms aren't best for me.

Thanks for any feedback!

I spend on average of $8 per meal. It all depends on where you buy the food and how much. Personally if I’m spending $10, the meal is probably already an oversized portion that I shouldn’t consider as just one meal.
