Parties??!?

What are the parties like?

Are there a lot of them, not a lot?

Is there a lot of underage drinking?

Is there a lot of drug culture? I heard that there is- that everybody smokes pot.

Are parties usually big or small?

Just wondering! :-)))

Please don’t make three separate threads at once next time, lol.

1) Parties are parties. People congregate for an occasion that consists of socializing in some manner and there may or may not be beer and other substances; there probably will be, but there are people who refrain from substances.

2) Yes, just as there is at every college.

3) Yes, a lot of persons smoke weed; that does not mean everyone smokes weed.

4) They vary in size, just as they do at every college.

Renn Fayre is supposed to be a huge deal, so I’ve heard.

^ Renn Fayre is a huge deal.

^^Please tell me you’re joking. I know that Renn Fayre means nothing to those who have never experienced it, but it is a big part of Reed.

What? I just added the “so I’ve heard” because I never have experienced it myself. I don’t go to Reed- yet! :-)

There are some pretty crazy videos of it on YouTube though.

Noize Parade is another awesome event.

^^I was more commenting on it being more of a matter of fact thing rather than something you’ve heard through the grapevine, lol. Every Reed applicant should know how important Renn Fayre is, though you won’t know why until you’ve experienced at least one.

Noize Parade is super fun as well, but it’s definitely an event that is mainly for freshmen. One can only handle so much noize. ;)

Since when did anyone under the age of 30 think pot was a drug?

Weed is a drug, lol.

whatss ren fayre? i havent heard/ read anythinga bout it…?
