@Wiscongene: “Immature: a word boring people use to describe fun people.”

They are proven to help with addiction to truly harmful drugs like heroin. Even if that weren’t true, not everything has to have a net value to society; I could argue music has no net value to society, yet a life without music would be empty to many (On that tact, if you listen to music, you should be thankful for drugs haha).

I’ve never taken psychedelic drugs, but I do know people who have led a more fulfilling life after having taken them - not in mindless indulgence, but in that they become more attuned to themselves, even turning to meditation after getting a glimpse of what you disparagingly call “nirvana or some other heightened plane of existence”

By the way, I’m sure you’re a perfectly nice guy, I just like debating.

Literally every person who has used psychedelics say they have changed their life.

They sure changed Steve Jobs’ life. If you own an iPod, iPhone, Mac, etc, thank psychedelics.

And, by the by, if you didn’t realize it already (though you will eventually), just about every modern religion is a tradition traceable to some idiot who found 'shrooms in the ground and ate 'em, then told his buddies everything he saw. Yes, I am a good Catholic. Hahahaha.

I’m not particularly concerned with what they say seeing as they accomplish so little…

Did you read the biography? Great book, and an interesting character for sure, but Wozniak came up with most of the computer engineering and design stuff and he was faaaaaaaaaar from being a drug user, or a partier at all. Jobs was just a marketer, and a good one at that (probably 'cause he learned a thing or two selling drugs on the streets of Palo Alto. lol).

I’m not religious at all. I thought this was common knowledge that all religions started that way? Yes, I know, very disconcerting, isn’t it?

Wait, Wiscongene, I’m still curious as to what you thought “rolling” meant.

I had to urban dictionary it haha.

I’m fine if you don’t do drugs but don’t you dare say people who use psychedelics “accomplish so little.” your posts are nothing more than opinionated insults. you have no idea how spectacular psychedelics are and unfortunately you probably never will.

“how spectacular” they are? You need to calm down a bit…
I’m in no way agaisnt some drugs but you seem to be glorifying it.

LOL @ Wiscongene

I didn’t mean for this to turn into another drugs vs no drugs thread. I was just happy I wasn’t the only one who’d taken ecstasy on here. Or acid. Btw, you guys ever do any of the 2c’s?

So you realize your mistake but still continue to ask questions referring to drugs. This is why people think everyone who takes drugs are ■■■■■■■■.

I can’t help but point out the ridiculousness of this comment.

Then please point it out.

Sure. Your statement implies that every non drug user thinks drug users are ■■■■■■■■. I told my non drug using friend that I smoke weed occasionally. He says he doesn’t care, and still thinks I’m a pretty smart guy. This anecdotal evidence disproves your theory. Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?

I was referring to a poster above who claimed that drug users “accomplish so little”. Maybe if you actually read the thread instead of searching for an argument you would understand my statement.

" And I seriously, seriously cannot understand how it’s entertaining to lose control of your mind/body. "

Don’t knock it till’ you try it.

/endthread

@Francais, I’ve read all about 'em on Erowid, but I can’t bring myself to try just yet… kinda like 5x salvia. I freak enough with the stuff I do, I’d like to keep my sanity as intact as possible hahaha.

Nahh molly (I was rushed before when I said ecstasy–that’s not what I had) keeps your very sane (in the essential way). You do have a lot of energy, so I would save it for a dance party. It IS something to be careful with though :P

I didn’t make a mistake. I mentioned drugs once, and people got all moral, then some defended, and it turned into an argument. The drug questions were also directed at specific people, therefore not having to involve everyone on the thread.

Hahaha wow guys. 24 hours after I asked the question there’s this argument…but I definitely don’t think those who do drugs are in any way bad or stupid people. I drink at parties and there are those who don’t. Drugs don’t affect intelligence unless you’re mad addicted.
