<p>Hi im applying to St Marks Schools Taft SPS lawrenceville and maybe others but i was wondering what boarding schools have a party school reputation because i dont want that. I know that every high school is gonna have kids that do drugs and drink but in any of these schools is there a higher percent of people that do this? I heard kent and berkshire are party schools what has anyone else heard?</p>
<p>EVERY school will have some kids that do drugs & alcohol. What matters is what is the school’s disciplinary policy and how strictly does the school enforce it. Here is a related thread:

<p>Like you said, prep schools are just like any other schools. There will be drugs and alcohol, etc. Yes, Kent is a huge party school. Staff is either clueless or just doesn’t want to deal with it. Kids grow pot in their rooms, smoke on campus, etc. Gunnery to a lesser extent. In the more exclusive prep schools, you’ll find more Adderall and meth than marijuana and alcohol. Yes, that means Taft, Choate, Loomis… Prep schools are so small compared to public schools that you’re going to run into kids like that no matter what. Just stay away from it and you’ll be fine :)</p>
