<p>I plan on becoming a Pathologist after I graduate. (Still have a long ways to go...I'm in Junior year of high school). Does anyone know a good major to pick? Right now I was thinking about biochem. Also does it not matter? Is it whatever major just prepares me for the MCAT? Just looking for advice. Since I apply next year.</p>
<p>Any major is fine for the MCAT and for med school. I'm taking histology right now and hate it :(</p>
<p>You're nine years away from picking a specialty. Focus first on getting into a college that suits you. Then focus on getting into medical school. Then worry about your boards and your third year classes.</p>
<p>When you have a board score and a class rank in your medical school, *then *start thinking about pathology.</p>
