Do investment bankers at regional banks and boutiques make as much as the ones from bulge brackets?

Nope. The bulge brackets typically have more success than regional banks and boutiques so they pay their employees more dough

Same amount of hours worked?

Generally boutiques work less hours, but get paid less in bonus. On the analyst level I’m not referring to 50k bonus for BB and $500 for boutique, but there will definitely be a haircut in bonus (in most cases, excluding elite boutiques). That said, you will also often work a few or more less hours at boutiques simply because they are smaller with less dealflow, etc.

IBanker

Interned at a regional/ MM ibank. Basically they work about 70 hours on average, although there may be a week where they have 100+ hours, very rare. Pay, as others mentioned is much lower but you should factor in cost of living. 100k in NY is much less than 80k in TN for example.

Depends on what regional office you’re talking about. For instance, some tech groups in SF work just as hard as their NY counterparts and get paid just as well.
