I currently have both Bright Futures Academic Scholarship as well as Florida prepaid tuition. One of these, theoretically, will cover tuition. Does anyone know how much from the other I could use to pay for housing?

Also, Has anyone done NROTC at UCF?

Do you have prepaid for tuition, or tuition and local fees? What ever your credit balance is after all tuition and fees are covered you can use toward housing, or books, or board. They apply prepaid first, then Bright Futures. There are different levels of prepaid coverage.

Just tuition. Also, does BF pay out monthly? Say all tuition and fees were covered. How much could I expect to receive from raw BF?

About a week into the semester you will receive a disbursement via either check or Direct Deposit into your bank account for any money remaining after all of your tuition is covered. So, in your case you would receive your BF amount back to spend on housing/books/food/etc that you may need (basically what sunnyflorida said). How much you receive from BF would depend on how many credit hours you re taking. For the Florida Academic Scholar you would receive $126.00 per hour ([Florida Student Scholarship and Grant Programs](http://www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org/ssfad/bf/awardamt.htm)). Hope this helps!
