<p>If you read the white sheet, halfway down under the sub title "Reservation Fee and Payment Options" you will see that checks or money orders should be made payable to "UC REGENTS" be sure to put the Sudent identification number on your check to ensure proper payment. You may also use Master card or Visa.</p>

<p>When people say "make your checks payable to..." usually what they put after that is exactly who you, er, make your checks payable to.</p>

<p>UC Regents are a fairly common term here in California, so I thought that might be why you were confused. the University of California Regents set the policy and are governing overlords of the Univeristy System.</p>

cuzthe check is supposely for the school i thought..</p>
<p>Put "UC REGENTS" as the title for it's for ...</p>
<p>in remarks or comments portion put "UC DAVIS" and then somewhere there is space, write down your student ID # and label it as such...</p>
