Can you send your app and not pay the fee originally. But then can you
send the fee once you get a notification? I ask this because when I GO
ED, one of my EA deadlines is Dec 1st. If I get in, thats great. If I dont, I wanna apply EA to this college. Can I send my app DEcemeber 1st and pay (if I didnt get in), like after I get a deferrance letter?

Are we talking about the application fee, or fees to pay the college once accepted?

If you are talking about the application fee, you MUST send it with the application. It is an application processing fee, and if they don't get it, the app won't be processed. Admissions is not the place to be cheap.

no I mean that can you send the fee like 5 days late after you send the application. It is not a matter of being cheap because colleges in general take a week to process all the thousands of apps they get.

I don't think that colleges process your application until they receive any required application fee. To make sure that the colleges know that you sent your fee, it would be very wise to send the fee at the same time that you send your application.
