Is it a good idea to hold RD application fees until ED results come out on December 15th? I have already sent all the apps.

^ I second it

That's what I'm doing. Don't want to pay hundreds of dollars if I don't have to.

Hey, then are you also waiting to send SAT scores on 15th?

No, I figured I'd just spend the 100 dollars to send the SAT scores (plus the money for stamps for my teachers to send their recs), but would wait on the most expensive part (and the easiest to send) until after I know about ED. I didn't want to risk recs/SAT scores not getting there on time or bugging my teachers by asking them to send stuff at different times.

The thing is, my counselor advised against it. He said schools may think you got bad news from your early.

After I sent all my fees, I kinda wish a tiny bit I get deferred...

A lot of people send apps after December 15th (even if they are not applying early). I think if you just hold off paying the fees it may appear that you got bad news from your early, but if you wait on the whole app (like I'm doing) you should be fine.
