So my daughter is an incoming freshman and it just hit us that we haven’t paid a tuition bill yet. At the risk of sounding really stupid and irresponsible, is this something that we would have received by mail (we haven’t)? By email? Should we log into somewhere on the Tufts website?
You should have received several emails. Google tufts ebill and then set up your account I would call as well since payment is past due
Thanks. I assumed it was past due. Never received any emails. Curious.
Did your daughter receive the eBill from Tufts?
Check in with your daughter, as she likely received the e-bills. She needs to approve others for receiving and viewing the e-bill, so as soon as she does that, you will likely start getting your own copy.
I had her check and apparently she did but didn’t realize it (not sure how this bodes for taking over all responsibilities…). Now she is figuring out how to get us approved (some snafu with changing her email or something - she’s dealing with it).
I had the same situation with my oldest daughter last year as she was entering Boston College. I knew this year to alert my next daughter to authorize me on her first Wellesley bill, but we procrastinated and I had to call the College. For my last daughter in a few years it will be a no brainer. Good luck @Momtothreegirls!
All paid (not sure if I should be excited about that). My daughter is going to have to learn to be more on top of things like this. Part of becoming an adult.
She’ll get more on top of things once the school e-mails with a message saying “you owe money and unless you pay up, you won’t get to register for class.”
^Yep! Or for international students, “If you don’t pay your tuition immediately, you won’t get a student visa and you will be deported!” We got that lovely message from our son last week. Everything turned out OK, but it was close since we were out of state, nowhere near a bank branch from which we could wire the money. Sigh.
Ha! Dad2A19, you called it! That message gets it done.
