@sgopal2 One can participate in swimming for 3 seasons at Peddie.
@skieurope is right
Wondering if your S made a decision yet? I had two sons swim at Peddie, and wanted to say that it was the best decision they both made. My oldest graduated top of his class and is at top 5 university now, as a double math/physics major. He says he was as well prepared as anyone at his university, and he’s doing extremely well. His academic preparation at Peddie was outstanding. My second also excelled academically at Peddie and is at a top 20 university, in its honor’s program, and is doing extremely well academically. And they had the time of their lives as part of the Peddie Mens Swim team.
Ugh. No decision yet. He went to Exeter revisit but completely ruled it because of the weaker swim program and because he thought the kids were “weird”. He also went to Peddie revisit and liked it a lot but won’t decide between the local public school and Peddie until April 10. He loves his home team, school and kids, he was just looking for smaller class sizes, more teacher interaction, more challenging coursework and a community that boarding schools offer. Now he is torn between Peddie and public. I am pulling for public because of the $ and distance. @40njmom. Fwiw, I fell in love with Exeter and would have been very happy with that choice. I would be happy with either Peddie or public as well! I just hate waiting more!
Are (did) any of your sons swimming for the University team?
