Does the peer evaluation just have to be postmarked by the RD deadline, or do they have to receive it by the deadline? Also, is submitting it by mail just as acceptable as doing it online (which I do not know how to do)? Is there an easy way to submit it online?

It has to be postmarked by the RD deadline. I applied early decision and sent mine and my friends in by mail. You can also email it to the admissions office, but I found snail mail easier.

I wrote one for a Dartmouth ED friend and made sure that it was mailed several weeks ahead of the app deadline and several weeks after I’d finished it so that she’d had time to critique it. We sent a pre-stamped, pre-addressed postcard in the envelope with the Peer Eval, which Dartmouth mailed back and which she received very soon after the Eval had been sent. If you’re not sure how to use the email option, this is a good way to confirm that Dartmouth has received the Eval. Best of luck!

@Coldwinter11- thanks,that clears it up.
@travelbug- I’m glad you reminded me about the postcard; I’ll be sure to include one. Unfortunately I do not have the time to review it for weeks, but luckily I have Christmas break to work with it.
