I'm writing one for a friend for Williams (hes applyin ED), and I'm havin some trouble. I've written like half a page, and I've noticed that what ive said is all good, but i havent really told the admissions about something NEW about applicant. i want to help out my friend, but i need some inspiration, and thats where you people come in. do i talk about like a certain forte of his? should i tell a small anecdote?

plus

how long should this thing be? im guessing nore more than a page and a half...

Also

if ED deadline is Nov. 10, the Peer Eval. form says "Please note there is no deadline by which the form must be received."

does this mean i can hand it in after the TOMORROW deadline?

Jvhowube, I think what you want to get across is why you really like this person. Strengths, anecdotes are good. The point is to convey a sense of his character. Williams is a small school and kids really need to work and play well together, so if this person has helped you, supported you, been there for you -- say so! It doesn't have to be gushy but it should be heartfelt. One page is fine.

Is having a peer evaluation really necessary for getting in, or is it actually optional? Also, where do you find the form for it. I didn't see it at the common app page. Thanks for any information.
