So, one of my bestest friends of all time asked me to write a recommendation for a scholarship for her. Apparently, they want one "peer" review. Of course I've known her since we were like in elementary school, as well as in the context of several volunteer/music activities. Basically, I'm not sure how I can go about describing her in a few short paragraphs! Or how I'm supposed to. Any advice?

It's best if you focus on one or two qualities and then give examples of how your friend demonstrated those qualities. It would be good too if you know what she is planning to major and how the EC's that she does mirror that. For instance if she is planning to major in music performance you would talk about how passionate she is about music. It would be helpful if you have a copy of her EC resume so you know everything she's been involved in and to perhaps remind you of things you have done in the past. Speak from your heart and be your most articulate!
