Pencils

I like the all new #3 pencils. They rock

I can not stand regular pencils. I know exactly that scratching sound they make, you have to scribble it out of them. I was taking the AP test the other day at school and the lady came up to me and demanded that i switch to a wood pencil. Wood pencils are just way to fat. I can not stand writing with them the lines get fatter and fatter! best pencil to go is a cheap .7mm Bic. You cant go with .5mm the lead breaks way to easy, and i found that the cheap Bic pencils never break lead. So dont go for the spendy pencils that will get stolen, go for the cheap reliable ones.

I don't like regular pencils either. Mostly because I'm lazy and don't want to sharpen it almost every class period.

I hate cheap mechanical pencils because they sound scratchy constantly. I use pen or a regular pencil if I have to.

I only use mechanical, side click mechanicals to be exact. I never have to worry about sharpening anything and always have crisp lines. The pentel ones are great, sturdy plastic and metal, and they have the chushiony thing. I've had mine for 2 years.

I use a Pentel FX something. Its a beast of a pencil haha..I like it for the looks and the FX.

I like mechanical pencils. They rock especially the 0.5 ones. The 0.7 ones are fatter and they become like pencils in that the lines get fatter and fatter. Sometimes, they smudge but not 0.5 ones.

It makes everything look so neat!

o_o; What the heck? If I use Ticonderoga pencils I'm a nerd? >>; Last time I checked I'm a Punk. xP

I LOVE mirado black warriors.

I think regular and mechanical pencils are old news. I am quite fine with my fission powered Papermate XL3-V9

Does anyone use anything other than a pencil to write with, like a pen? I never use pens because I erase a lot, so I need a pencil!

i never actually use pencil except in math when points come off for pens.

Only 3 posts per day. You are slacking young padawan

I have to use .7mm lead. I press really hard (I'm hard on everything...) and so .5 breaks about 2x per word for me.

If I have to, I'll use Ticonderoga,
otherwise,
it's whatever type of lead I have that dictates what mechanical pencil I use, so right now, none.

:|

i think only on CC could someone write a post about pencils and get 34 replies lol

You've never had a life-altering conversation on pencils in real life? Oh, the deprivation.

generally my life-altering conversations are about pens..i must be missing out..

I only use one pencil, and it lasts a long time. Speaking of pencils, I forgot mine today, and I had to borrow one from a friend. Oh, the irony!

You know, I just go to the store and pick up some random pack...they are mechanical though. I couldn't tell you the brand name or anything. The only interesting thing that happened to me with pencils is that I was accidentally stabbed in the arm with one. Painful...
