Pencils

That must have really, really hurt!

It did...I still have the scar...:/

hmmm, something interesting just happened...

I remember someone accidentally scratching the tip of a Ticonderoga pencil against my arm. It was such a deep cut. The blood spewed out of the two-inch mark.

I don't like Ticonderoga pencils. Yeah, just because of that one experience. It scarred me.

I have never seen a Ticonderoga pencil. I had to google it.

lol. This post is right up my alley, since I'm the widely acknowledged school supply connoisseur of my group of friends. You can use mechanical pencils on standardized tests as long as they are labeled "#2" "#2 HB" "HB" "Soft", or any combination of these.

I have a pack of "lucky" pencils from my parents' old country, and my mother made the mistake of asking for "#2" pencils so I could use them on my SATs. The vendor gave her this strange look and I wanted to sink into the floor. "Ma! They're called HB pencils here!" I whispered loudly. How could she forget the name of the pencils she had to use on standardized exams all through grade school? It totally made her look like an expat.

For 0.7 mm lead pencils, I liked the Papermate Topnotch in their motley-colored packs. Right now, though, I prefer the 0.5 mm's from Pilot--the ice-blue barreled Easy-Touch with its comfort grip rocks my pencil case.

mechanical pencils r for nerds, they easily break and hard to spin

i never sharpen my pencils, theres always someone handing u more, and some r already sharpened

I always have to sharpen my pencils, since I write so much!

i live for mechanical pencils

i eat mechanical pencils.

So does my dog!

wow, what a weird dog. you might want to get that checked out...by taking anatomy at your school...cuz this is HS related.

Yes, anatomy at my school. I like the anatomy teacher. He was my bio teacher, and also my track coach freshman year...

Reminds me of my geometry teacher freshie year. He's been my X-C coach since soph year. The guys a bipolar maniac, though. I can't help but like the guy for some reason. Maybe cuz he made our crappy team amazing.

Ahhh... the bio teacher was a great coach, he's also kinda crazy. Then yeah... he quit. My CC coach... not so amazing. Don't you love HIGH SCHOOL sports?

yes, and i love how high school sports are a part of my high school life.

A very, VERY important part of A LOT of people's HIGH SCHOOL LIFE.

now only if everyone could grasp this concept.

Exactly...

i couldn't read all those 4 pages, but here's what i think...

CB and other standardized testing companies may have made a deal with No.2 pencil companies so that the good ol' No.2 wont disappear under the shadows of the convenient, useful, and beautiful mechanical pencils.
