does anyone still have the message that their application is still being processed? I feel like since I submitted my app at the end of oct, its been quite a while…

^ Im referring to the message in the Penn Applicant Portal when you log in. Thanks!

Mine still says it’s being processed too, they’ll probably update it within a week or two

same here! i submitted my app two days before nov. 1st…and the portal still says “will be available shortly”…

whew! okay, then it’s a non-issue:)

I was stalking last year’s Penn ED threads and I think the Portal started working for them around this time (late November) last year.

^I had the same problem as above posters. I’m only worried since I wanted to get an interview in :-/. I hope that’ll still be possible.

Does anyone know when tracking will be available???

did anyone finish interview already? i saw posters in previous pages but i want to know what questions they ask…i will have mine tmr >_<

^I think it depends on the interviewer.

Mine was so chill. She literally said, at the beginning of our interview, that she didn’t want our discussion to be artificially directed, and said we’ll just discuss whatever we comes up naturally in conversation.

Never in the “interview” did she actually ask me any questions that felt unnatural or scripted. Instead, the entire two-hour meeting felt more like a philosophical discussion than an interview.

We talked about the election (the results had just been announced a day earlier), campaign finance and it’s direct impact (does more money actually buy votes?) versus long-term implications (PACs can buy access, lobbying power), etc. But never did we actually discuss our personal political views. Sometimes I felt like we were debating, but it was always, always civil discourse.

She never had to say anything abrupt since the entire time, we were engaged in discussion and the questions came naturally. I also happened to talk about my extracurriculars, although I’m not sure if she would have asked me to elaborate only ECs had I not spoken about them.

Just relax! Everyone’s interview experience will be different; I think I was very lucky to get such an engaging interviewer.

ED CAS. Hopefully I get in; as an international student seeking fin aid, I really need to get in somewhere.

does anyone have anything listed under “outstanding application materials” in pennportal? Does that mean you have outstanding application material or that the things listed under there are the outstanding application materials? … I’m really confused.

^foodluver

Go to “my application info” at the top to see what has or hasn’t been received.

Anyone else still can’t believe that we’re about to receive our decisions in 20-something days? I’m so psyched! (And anxious…)

I applied ED to Huntsman (target language Spanish)

@foxtails: dunno if psyched or if scared ****less. Probably latter group.

still haven’t received my username+password… can’t wait to get my answer though

Haha I feel like I’ve already kind of given up on Penn. The odds just seems so stacked against me. Ah well, Big State U, here I come!

It takes a few days :$

In the portal, there is only SAT 1 (reasoning test) mentioned - satisfied.
There is no mention about SAT 2(subject test)- is this normal?
