12 has always been my favorite number 12/12/12

well good luck to you^ that would be an amazing birthday gift!

@Obbypen Nothing could make your birthday more exhilarating lol

So guys, how’s everyone doing? Panicking? Stressing? Excited? All of the above? Haha. Anyone getting calmer by the day like me?

Wednesday should be an interesting day. The one thing I’ve thought most about is how I would react to an acceptance/deferral/rejection. We’ll see how it turns out in a couple of days.

Heh yeah it has the potential of being the best birthday I’ve had. I was afraid when tha date was moved to the 12th but like others have mentioned, I have just grown to accept it. Hope to hear from you guys in the following days, you guys have very interesting conversations!

I have a question. Did anyone else receive the email regarding the $400 enrollment deposit waiver for FA?

Obbypen YES and my friend too! At first I was excited thinking it implied acceptance, but now I’m not so sure…

First off, congrats!!! This probably signifies that you were accepted. Why else would you need an enrollment deposit???

Second, can you explain what this is? Are all accepted students supposed to pay a $400 enrollment deposit? Or just students who receive fin aid?

Wait what does this mean? I didn’t get any such email…

It was for financial aid applicants who qualified. Basically the email said that they were waiving the $400 enrollment deposit, since quite frankly we can’t afford that. But idk, it seems like quite a few people got it Maybe it was some sort of automated reply?

I’ll post the exact words.

^^NO WAY!!! That’s awesome for you It would be silly to waive the enrollment deposit for rejected applicants, no?

^That would be much appreciated! Thank you :)

No email here, but I never filled out the FA entirely

Obby, you basically got in.

You’re in. Congrats.

I’ll continue by saying that it seems that if you do get accepted, that you will indeed need a ridiculous $400 deposit…

Wait stop are you joking? Can someone like actually verify this?

when did you get this email

Obby, if you don’t mind my asking - what’s your annual income?

Friday night

I doubt anyone can. It’s just a hypothesis. Honestly I think that the words seem very misleading and likely it’s just some very unwise diction.

I just was wondering if other FA applicants had gotten this earlier, and if they did, that I wasn’t the only lunatic misconstruing the words.
