Interview: 10/10! Very, very well - the guy who interviewed me was the husband of the chairperson for admissions. We really hit it off, he told me he would write a “glowing recommendation”, so it looks like it worked
CommonApp Essay (Subject, 1-10 rating, details): 9/10 - Wrote about the drought in California and how it was a catalyst to grow - very unique I think, and very personal - poured my heart out.
Why Penn: 7/10 - Alright but not great. Talked about how Penn was an opportunity for me to reach beyond the limited opportunities I had as a low income student
