Also: Affluent white girl from the burbs, not great essays, verrrry good interview, decent teacher recs, decent guidance rec, as mentioned a fantastic supplemental rec from my Harvard mentor guy and... yes. Note I have a 680 on the Math and an 800 in CR and I applied as a physics major...

Absolutely any response will be so appreciated. I'll comment on yours as well if you would like me to. Thanks so much in advance!

They are going to think you are gaming applying as a Physics major.
Otherwise, you are right on the cusp as an ED applicant.

... yea danas that's what i'm worried about them thinking. I hope my involvement in all that stuff over the summer though, as well my award will show them that i'm serious about it. I test really poorly in math so it sucks. Got a 32 on my math ACT tho.. maybe they'll look at that? one can hope :):) thanks though

anyone else?

I think your really right on the bubble. I would say maybe a high reach. Your EC's and leadership looks very good and obviously your ACT and class rank are impressive. GL

lol did you submit a picture with your app? That should do it if what you say is true...

Seriously, I think you have pretty good chances (slight reach)
Good GPA/rank
Very good ECs
Pretty good SATs, good ACT

Haha I did send a pic... prettty sure it'll give me an edge...

lol so yes anyone else?? pleasepleaseplease!! be brutally honest because it'll motivate me to do other apps lol. And if you're feeling especially nice. could you also tell me if you think I have a decent chance at U Mich, Northwestern, Wash in St Lou and Dartmouth with these stats (ruling out anything I posted above that was Penn specific)?

bump :) :) :) :)

I think you have a fairly decent chance as the above posts said>

LD or CX?

10 charac

I do both LD and PFD-- what I'm going to TOCs in though is PFD

soo.. again >>bump<<

pleaseeee one week left till i find out and im just getting so anxious and i just want to hear outside opinions that don't come from friends family saying "oo! you'll def get in!!"

1480 is aight at penn, sat ii a little below avg, and Penn ED is often used by triple legacy whores. I would say 50/50 chance, with SAT and SAT 2s being the only real "weak" spot.
