I am aware that the official acceptance rate is 26%, but that includes all schools. Since Wharton has a considerably lower acceptance rate than CAS and makes up 20% of the acceptances, assigning a 15% acceptance rate to Wharton and factoring it out would give a an acceptance rate of CAS, SEAS and Nursing or 29%. Would this be a reasonably assumption?

The conventional wisdom is that the CAS admit rates are close to the overall admit rates, with SEAS and Nursing being a bit higher, and Wharton being lower.

And for what it’s worth, Penn’s overall ED admit rate this year was 25%, not 26% (I know, big diff ).
