Penn ED Admits: What If?

<p>Hey all. I was wondering to all you lucky duck ED Admits out there, where else you were going to apply (and would consider going) had you been deferred or (eep!) rejected from Penn. </p>

<p>I’ll get the party started:

  1. Amherst (students+English dept=good times)
    (large space here)
  2. Yale (what can I say)
  3. Swarthmore (Seemed legit)</p>

<p>About a bajilliion other places: Harvard, Vassar, Wellesley, UC Berkeley, UCSC, USC, Oxford, Columbia, Georgetown, Bowdoin, and Lewis and Clark just for good measure.</p>

<p>usc was my big number 2 choice...ucla ucberkely(even tho i hated it...i dont kno why i applied) ucsb ucirvine ucdavis tufts emory duke</p>

<p>i happily threw away ALL MY APPS and several tons of worthless college mail (predominantly crap schools too) but i did...just incase... do usc's and berkeley's. cause their deadlines were before i foundout
and who here is SOOO READYYY to be at penn right now? i know i am</p>

<p>Haha I kept all of my applications and all of my college mail (I have like a ginormous file cabinet that's filled with college stuff)...I get to open it up from time to time, look at all the colleges and applications (I did them over the summer...ugh) and smile...it's such permanent satisfaction. I also kept all my SAT prep books even long after I had finished taking the SAT; it just gives you a warm happy feeling inside your tummy to know you don't have to deal with that ever again. Like cocoa. Mmm.</p>

<p>Only 8 more months until Penn. Yuck, thats a longtime. I need to put high school behind me...</p>
