Well, just like everyone here, I would like to go to Penn. But I was wondering, if you are not admitted, which other school would you like to go to?

In my case, if I’m not admitted into Penn, I would love to go to the University of Michigan. It pretty much has everything. And it’s undergraduate business program (@ Ross) is also awesome.

U of M is a great school and is a nice alternative to Penn. Ross is an amazing business school that easily competes with Wharton. And, I'm from Ann Arbor and can tell you personally that the students at U of M are a great mix of kids, and the ones I know all seem to love Ann Arbor and the University. The campuses also seem very similar in feel although not in size. Plus, U of M is definitely easier to get in to.

As for me, if I don't get in to Penn I'm hoping to get accepted regular admission at either Cornell or Northwestern with Michigan as a Match/Safety school.

im doing early action to Notre Dame and Boston College in addition to ED at Penn. Hopefully, if Penn doesn't work, one of the other two will. ND's undergrad business school ranks #3, with Wharton at #1.

To everyone wanting to go to Cornell if Penn says no,

Are you only interested in the Cornell AEM (Applied Economica and Management) major in the College of Agriculture? My daughter was admitted into the college, although her major was engineering, and we learned that AEM only took 96 freshman students. Transferring into the major is very, very competitive, and the major requires 18 credits of math and science. Those were some of the reasons my D decided against attending Cornell. Be cautious when considering the AEM program at Cornell, if that's your plan.
