maybe it's a mass pranking?

People you can relax, turns out it was one of my buddies. It was pretty convincing though.

Now he has a black eye.

^lol really!?

Lmao I was just thinking of doing this to one of my buddies whose a double legacy at Princeton. Then I realized I'm not a complete douchebag, cause I know that would FREAK me out haha

People die for lesser pranks. (:

It was a pretty good prank, I have to say. But at least it said 'rejected' instead of 'admitted'. :) It'd suck if the email brought your hopes up and the actual letter from Penn said the exact opposite.

lol @ The Dean

That must have felt horrible. Do email UPenn and tell them about it, you can only view decisions on the website, and even if they emailed you they'd use their email head (or watever the logo thing is called).

I might have cried if I had gotten that abrupt email.

Oh sorry!

didn't read that it was your friend.

Haha, black eye.

OMG
dont you love friends?
hahaha

April Fools (early) my friend.

What if April 1 schools mass-emailed their applicants and told them all they got in... and then on April 2, went "JK, we was just playing"

they'd be sued under the tort of nuisance :D
or at least they should be ;P

I got an email from the same address in regard to my fin aid. :| that's a very cheesy joke (I hope). I got so scared I almost had a heart attack.. then I noticed LOTS of spelling mistakes and bulls*t. (again, I hope so:)))... I have not fully recovered. :| I think it would look really silly if I emailed the *REAL admissions office, wouldn't it? (no stats in my penn plan changed). Jeeeeez

Whoever did this I HATE HIM! :((
(and stupid fool's day)
