Accepted for SEAS! Pretty unexpected but I’m happy about it 
Hey guys, I was accepted to UPenn. Today I wanted to place my deposit, but on my UPenn Admission Portal it is said that my enrolment deposit has been waived. So that means that I don’t have to pay the deposit, right? I didn’t ask it to be waived. Does UPenn automatically waive deposits for low income families? Or is it some kind of mistake?

@penguiny then that is probably why there is no deposit required. You have to accept your offer of admission, but probably don’t have to give money, since they are giving you money. Of course you can double check with them, but DS received a FA package when he applied a few years ago and we didn’t have to put a deposit down, he just had to accept.
