Penn State Altoona????

<p>So i was accepted into the Smith School of Business which is a very good business program, and I surely would have gone to penn state had i gotten into UP for all 4 years. But I got into Altoona for 2, UP for 2. So I'm just wondering, Has anyone else done this? Will the business school be just as reputable if I go to a branch campus for 2 years? Also, how is the social life at Altoona? Can you still go the football games, etc? I'm just not sure about Altoona. </p>

<p>yes, many have started at branch campuses, I think the percentage is about half of the first years start at a branch.
There is no difference in your diploma or program. You will graduate from Penn State.
Not sure about Altoona although I think it is the closest to UP, and so is the most popular branch campus. Although if you haven’t accepted yet you likely will not get housing.</p>
