I was filling out my Penn State application yesterday and selected University Park as my starting and end campus on the program of study portion. However, coming back to it today, the system wouldn’t let me continue until I had selected a different campus. On the list of campuses to choose from, University park wasn’t on there anymore. Does that mean the campus is full and I can no longer select it as the campus I want to attend?
Are you sure it’s not asking you to pick a backup in addition to your first choice?
No. There were errors with my starting and end campus, both of which were university park. On the previous page, it stated that if I don’t see my campus, it could be because it’s full, but I’m really bummed since University Park was my first choice.
I highly doubt it’s full – they’ve just started giving out decisions.
The strange thing is, if I select my starting semester as summer, a long list of campuses come up including UP for the starting and ending campus. However, by selecting Fall as my starting, only 5 options came up compared to if I had selected summer.
It may well be related to your major. Change it to DUS and see if you can enter Starting/Ending as UP.
@kik112 My daughter only put University Park, no second choice, application went through, was accepted late Oct/early Nov
I just went back today and checked again and all the choices were there. Maybe something was wrong with the system but I managed to change it back to UP. Thanks for the responses everyone!
