Your GPA, SAT, and ACT need to be higher. If you have good essays then you have a shot. Penn State is a competitive school.
I really hope you get in, Penn State is my dream school as well.
I know someone who got in with a 1550 SAT, but his GPA was considerably higher than yours, and he applied undecided.
If anything, applying as an engineering major knocks your chance down the most, because you need at least 1800s or 1900s to have a shot at that.
