Penn State Smeal vs. Northeastern Honors CBA

I've narrowed my choices down to these two outstanding institutions. I feel that Northeastern is a school that's rising fast, but the caliber of the professors and classes aren't exactly rising with it. Though the average class size for NEU is 20 smaller than PSU (in business core), I have heard that many professors don't speak English well, and students are sometimes rowdy and immature. The co-op program would give me a considerable boost in my business career, but the starting salaries for CBA are only 1k higher than Smeal's.

Input on the prestige and effectiveness of the honors program is also appreciated. I'm also concerned with Northeastern's low yield rate.

Both schools are ranked in the 30s, so the decision is especially difficult. Thanks in advance for any advice and information.

This is where I obtained my info:

<a href="http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/undergraduate_mba_profiles/northeastern.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/undergraduate_mba_profiles/northeastern.html</a></p>

northeastern is a school that is on the rise. In my opinion, i would choose northeastern over penn state. Penn State is a very large school not in the most exciting town either. Northeastern is in Boston, and frankly in a town that will offer you so many opportunities. The co-op program will only strengthen your resume and give you a real life perspective on what you want to further peruse. Penn State is more "well-known" then northeastern, but with this years competitiveness and popularity of northeastern this is surely going to change. (I'm also going to be a little bias in my opinion because i favor school in large cities. Big Cities= exciting college town with other universities-bu/bc etc...great opportunities and internships)
Having been accepted to northeastern I have to give it the thumbs up and recommend it to you.
