Please chance, thanks.

Your stats are very similar to mine, and I’m also interested in PSU and Syracuse, except I live in PA. I had an interview with Syracuse last month (they came to Pittsburgh) and I think to get in, it really depends on the department you want to go into. The journalism school is the most competitive, and she told me they only have 120 slots! But I mean, for the less competitive departments, its not too too bad to get accepted into Syracuse. I think you could get in with some good teacher recs and a solid essay.

As for PSU, I seriously can’t predict what that school will do with you and I. We’re borderline for U. Park, so we probably won’t hear from them for a while. The people who are getting accepted to PSU now are the ones with really solid GPAs and test scores, so I feel like they’re holding off on us, but that’s just me. I also think we should both consider retaking the SAT/ACT.

But anyway, that’s just my opinion, I’m going through the same kinda deal. Good luck to you, and I hope all goes well! :)

omg you guys have put a 3rd on that !
penn state is the school i REALLY want to get into
but syracuse is also another great choice however my SAT are lacking terribly but my gpa is preety soild
i know penn state has a summer program that might let you get into the school (or at least that what i heard)
hopefully all ends well :)

Numbers are on the lower side of Penn State’s admitted applicants, but I can’t see why you wouldn’t get in.
