<p>Hi i was just wondering what everyone thought my chances at Penn State main campus are.
I applied in the middle of september and haven't heard back yet. </p>

<p>3.4 GPA
2 AP, 3 CHS, 9 Honors Classes
1860 SAT (1270 two score)
i was a 3 year varsity football player, also played baseball and basketball
Hands for Service and SADD member
I had a strong letter of rec. and a good essay </p>

<p>not sure if this means anything but my best friend got accepted into main with a (1670 SAT but a 4.0 gpa, (although he had significantly lower course rigor)) and his father is good friends with someone on the board of trustees. If he contacted him could that give me a boost?</p>

<p>Mike, my son was accepted a few days ago with similar scores as yours. His unweighted gpa was 3.3, weighted was 4.0. Hang in there.</p>

<p>My daughter got in with a 26 act (not sure what the means in terms of sat scores) 4.0 unweighted. She was just under that blue bubble. I think her amazing EC’s got her in. We are out of state.</p>
