<p>Hi! I'm currently going into my senior year of high school and I was wondering if you think I'll make it into PSU. My GPA is a weighted 95.09.. I'm not sure how to find my unweighted right now, but it should be at the very least above a 93. I'm ranked 11th out of around 160 students. My ACT composite score was a 28 and I got an 1820 on the SAT. I'm in some strong extracurriculars like the captain of the debate team, mock trial, student council, science fair, etc. I might retake the act in the fall if I have to, but I would like to apply to Penn State as close to the Sept. 1 date as I can. I'm a PA resident as well. (white, male, middle class family if any of that matters) Thank you! </p>
<p>Also, what kind of format should I complete the activities paragraph in? It says, "Please use this space to discuss your activities (other than academic work) during the last several years (for example: school organizations, jobs, athletics, the arts, community service, religious groups, or other individual interests). We suggest a limit of 500 words or fewer." Should I just write about how my top activities I've participated in have benefited me or should I try to fit in as many activities as I can? </p>
<p>And finally, how much weight do they put in the optional personal statement? </p>
