Really excited to meet people with similar interests as me. I'm admitted as a Biology major.

Wooo same as me. Pre-med?

Well I like biology, But medical is a very tough field of study. So I’m going to try pre-med and see how it goes for me. Otherwise I also like Entrepreneurship, I know completely different but I like both.

Eberly for Pre-Med
Mango15, premed?
The next four years are going to be fun, haha.

Dreamer- that’s a good plan, sounds like you got it all figured out!

Monia- yep I’m pre-med too!

Have you guys visited penn state yet?

Potential triple major

Anyone thinking about requesting the Biology dorm SLO in East?

^what is that, a dorm specifically for bio majors?

I haven’t visited yet but I’m going next Friday. I’m so excited! I haven’t started looking at housing yet. Could you explain a little coryellas about the dorm?

Moniaa, sounds like fun! Would you mind telling us how the visit goes?

the BIOME special living option is for those interested in the biology major and is located in pinchot hall in east. From what I understand it just provides a smaller community as well as guest speakers, review sessions, etc. here’s a link explaining all of the SLOs:

I haven’t visited yet but am going soon. Can’t wait !

Our daughter is a freshman in Eberly College of Science and loves it…Congratulations:)

I’m so excited! I received my acceptance 2 days ago for Eberly’s forensic science pathway. Is anyone else doing the 2+2 though?

I’m still waiting to hear back from admissions, but I applied as a Bio major with pre-med. I HATE THIS WAIT!!

@jfrancishutch how long ago did you apply? It took them less than 2 weeks to give me my decision once they had everything(SAT scores and transcript).

@PSUgirl16 I applied about 3 weeks ago, so my app is just in the stack waiting to be reviewed I guess. What are you stats? I’m anxious to hear back.

@jfrancishutch they’re pretty embarrassing compared to some of these other people, but a 1860 3 part SAT (1290 2 part) a 3.5ish GPA, I think I’m 40some out of 240ish seniors, I’ve taken like 15 honors/AP classes in these past 4 years but I haven’t done AP testing, idk, anything else you wanna know? Haha

I just got accepted into Penn State yesterday!!! I’ll be a CHEM major Anyone else??? Still dont know if Im going here yet completely but hopefully I will cuz I love this school.
