Hi I am an admitted student at Penn State University Park, Indiana University Bloomington, and Binghamton University. I am currently undecided as my major but am planning on going to law school and will probably study something in the social sciences, communication, or writing fields. I am an OOS for all 3 and am not too worried about the finances. I liked all the schools equally when I visited and was wondering if anyone knew which one of these schools was most prestigious overall, best for these programs, or would like to share their opinion please comment and let me know.

Indiana 31k
Penn State 28k
SUNY Binghamton 16k(OOS)

That’s a pretty big difference if you ask me. Penn State is the biggest on that list. If you want to do Business—>Indiana Kelly, engineering---->Penn State, sciences—>SUNY Binghamton. All of them have pretty good name recognition. Binghamton is probably the most famous and highly ranked SUNY. Bing doesn’t have the school spirit and big times sports like the other two schools. Go with the gut feeling.

Thanks for the help. Do you know wich is best in social sciences (i.e. Poly sci, philosophy) and in comm/journalism? Does Bing have the same national name recognition as PSU and IU?
